Strawpeachy Smoothie

Note: If you're not allergic to nuts, top the finished smoothy with some chopped walnuts.

Prep time: 15 minutes

What you need

  • 1 cup nonfat, plain yogurt
  • 1 cup 1% milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh or frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 1 fresh peach, peeled and sliced or 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened peach slices
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Equipment and supplies

  • blender or food processor (have an adult help you)
  • knife for slicing fruit (have an adult help you)
  • measuring spoons
  • tall glasses to serve the smoothie

What to do

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and frothy.
  3. Pour into glasses
